Job Description
Depot Service Engineer (Level 3) - Medical Devices
n
n
- Install, maintain, service, and repair medical devices in accordance with approved procedures.
n
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using appropriate tools, software, and escalation processes.
n
- Maintain accurate service records, equipment data, and documentation in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
n
- Meet service KPIs and support efficient service delivery.
n
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
n
- Provide professional technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
n
- Participate in required product, technical, and compliance training.
n
- Support after-hours work, on-call activities, and travel as required.
n
n
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Certificate,
Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare, medical devices, or a similar technical service environment preferred.
n
- Strong electro-mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
n
- General Hand tools and approved diagnostic tools and a DMM
n
- Ability to interpret and follow service manuals, technical documentation, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.
n
- Applies a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
n
- Ability to accurately document troubleshooting activities, findings, corrective actions, and test results in accordance with Valuable Documentation Practices (GDP) and company quality standards.
n
- Proficient with standard computer applications and service management systems.
n
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
