Senior Project Manager - Enterprise Service Transition

Aspirante is partnering with Queensland Government's Child Safety Department to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the transition of a major enterprise platform from remediation into stable, sustainable and business-owned operations.

n

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will establish the governance, operating model, roadmap and service arrangements needed to move the platform from project-led delivery into BAU.

The Role

n

Working across business, technology, operational and vendor teams, you will:

n

- Develop and manage the BAU transition roadmap.
n
- Establish governance forums, decision pathways and executive reporting.
n
- Coordinate readiness assessments, assurance activities and transition gates.
n
- Maintain a prioritised roadmap covering remediation, releases, defects and system dependencies.
n
- Clarify business ownership, accountabilities and service support arrangements.
n
- Implement the future operating model and sustainable BAU planning cycles.
n
- Monitor service health, incidents, risks, user experience and performance.
n
- Develop practical dashboards, benefits measures and continuous improvement processes.
n
- Coordinate workforce transition, capability uplift and knowledge transfer.
n
- Manage senior stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
n

About You

n

You will be a senior Project, Program or Transition Manager with demonstrated experience moving complex enterprise systems from project delivery into BAU.

n

You will bring:

n

n
- Proven project-to-BAU or service-transition experience.
n
- Experience with enterprise application remediation or stabilisation.
n
- Strong operating model, governance and assurance capability.
n
- Experience establishing business ownership and accountability structures.
n
- Strong executive, operational and technical stakeholder management skills.
n
- Experience developing roadmaps, prioritisation processes and readiness assessments.
n
- Knowledge of service performance, continuous improvement and benefits tracking.
n
- Experience managing vendors, workforce transition and capability uplift.
n
- A track record delivering within complex, regulated or risk-sensitive environments.
n

n

Queensland Government or broader public-sector experience will be highly regarded.

n

Contract period: 31/08/2026 to 30/06/2027, + possibility for an extension
