Who AEMS is looking for
n
Due to our continued growth, we are currently in search of tradespersons (as well as apprentices) who have a genuine interest in the electronic security industry and have experience installing cable and cable support, to join our team.
n
Tradespersons who hold any of the following qualifications are encouraged to apply; Cert III in – Electrotechnology, Telecommunications or Security Installation. Whilst the ability to install and service electronic security equipment is an essential requirement for this position, training will be provided.

The position
n
Security Technicians are required to:
n
Install and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion hardware, Cabling and Cable support.
n
Assist in testing of installed equipment and provide basic programming, such as, adding card readers, cameras and alarm points to any system.
n
Liaise with stakeholders on technical and service matters.
n
Utilise Simpro job management system and complete appropriate documentation.
n
Have the flexibility to travel within our service areas, which at times may include regional and interstate travel.
n
Participate in rotational after hours call outs (callout rates apply)
n
Have astrong commitment to adhere to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
n
Maintain criminal history clearances and relevant licences e.g. Class 2 Security provider licence.
n

Skilled and Qualifications required
n
Hold a relevant Private Security Individual Registration, Cabling Licence, High Risk Work Licence, Construction Safety Induction Card and valid Australian Driver's Licence.
n
An Electrical License may also be advantageous.
n
Experience in CCTV, Access Control, Alarm & Intrusion, installation & programming for such systems as Inner Range, Gallagher, Protégé, Bosch, Axis, Genetec and Milestone ishighly regarded.
n
Currently hold or have the ability to obtain security clearances.
n
