Position: Maintenance Supervisor
n
About the Role
n
We have two positions available for motivated Maintenance Supervisors to take ownership of maintenance operations at our Stapylton, and Ipswich sites.
n
In these roles, you will play a critical part in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently, leading a dedicated team to drive safety, reliability, and performance across a busy, high-volume recycling facility. You will oversee the maintenance of plant and equipment, minimise downtime, and champion continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities
n
Leadership & Team Management
n
n
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance technicians
n
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure efficiency and quality outcomes
n
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback
n
n
Maintenance & Operations
n
n
- Complete breakdown maintenance during operations as required
n
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities
n
- Troubleshoot complex equipment and plant issues
n
- Ensure plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard
n
- Drive preventative maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
n
n
Safety & Compliance
n
n
- Promote and enforce a robust safety culture aligned with WHS standards
n
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits
n
n
Planning, Budget & Resources
n
n
- Manage maintenance budgets and cost control
n
- Coordinate procurement of parts, materials, and external services
n
n
Continuous Improvement
n
n
- Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and performance
n
- Work closely with operations to meet production targets
n
- Coordinate contractors and specialist service providers
n
n
Reporting & Communication
n
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reports
n
- Track performance metrics, costs, and equipment reliability
n
- Act as the key link between maintenance teams and senior management
n
n
About You
n
You are a proactive, hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safety and quality.
n
Qualifications and Experience
n
n
- Relevant trade qualification (required)
n
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance or supervisory role (industrial/heavy workplace preferred)
n
- Solid understanding of WHS and environmental practices
n
- Current driver's licence and White/Blue Card
n
- Knowledge of Australian Standards
n
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
n
n
