We're opening new stores, investing in new technology (hello Odoo ), and building a retail network that's as iconic as our donuts.

To help us get there, we're looking for an exceptional Area Manager to lead a portfolio of stores and inspire the people who bring Daniel's to life every day.

The Role

This isn't a desk job.

n

It's a role for someone who loves being in stores, coaching teams, solving problems, celebrating wins and helping great Store Managers become even better leaders.

n

You'll be the link between our Head of Retail and our stores—making sure every customer has an amazing experience, every team feels supported, and every store performs at its best.

n

What You'll Be Doing

Driving performance

n

Own the results across your portfolio by growing sales, improving profitability and helping every store achieve its full potential.

n

Spend time where it matters—in stores. Mentor, support and challenge Store Managers to build confident, capable teams that deliver brilliant customer experiences.

n

Raising the standard





n

Champion the Daniel's way by maintaining exceptional store presentation, operational excellence, food safety and brand standards across every location.

n

Bringing the excitement

n

Lead the rollout of new products, promotions, seasonal launches and marketing campaigns so every store is customer-ready from day one.

n

Partner with HR to identify talent, develop future leaders and create succession plans that keep our stores thriving.

n

Monitor sales, wages, productivity, waste and key performance metrics to identify opportunities and support Store Managers to improve results.

n

Promote a strong safety culture where food safety, workplace safety and compliance are simply how we do business every day.

n

Winning together

Work closely with Retail Support, Marketing, Operations, HR and other support teams to ensure our stores have everything they need to succeed.

Who You Are

n

You're a retailer through and through.

n

You know great stores are built by great people, and you genuinely enjoy helping others succeed.

n

You'll probably bring:

n

- Experience leading multiple retail, QSR, bakery or hospitality locations.
n
- A passion for coaching,



developing and inspiring Store Managers.
n
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales, labour, productivity and profitability.
n
- Confidence using retail reporting and data to make smart decisions.
n
- High standards and a keen eye for customer experience and operational excellence.
n
- A hands-on leadership style—you'd rather be in stores than behind a desk.
n
- The flexibility to travel across your portfolio and support your teams wherever they're needed.
