Key Responsibilities:
n
Undertake external audits and reviews of financial statements
n
Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
n
Generate reports for management and governance bodies, assessing internal controls
n
Provide assurance on the accuracy and compliance of financial reports with statutory requirements
n
Conduct risk assessments, plan audit responses, and implement audit procedures
n
Interpret legislation and accounting principles,
applying them to auditing procedures
n
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and communicate recommendations to clients
n
Deliver verbal and written reports on audit findings and process improvement opportunities
n
Travel to various client sites to examine financial records and systems
n
Requirements:
n
1 - 2 + years' experience as an external auditor ( Preferably in Australia)
n
Familiarity with Australian Auditing Standards and Accounting Standards
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
n
Ability to manage multiple and conflicting demands within agreed timelines
n
Commercial mindset and business acumen
n
Professionalism and meticulous attention to detail
n
Ability to produce technically competent work in a practical manner
n
Experience with Caseware Working Papers and Caseware Financial Statements
n
