This is a key role in this business and requires a person who is willing to assist members wherever possible, whilst enforcing the rules of the Co-op. Must have valuable organisational skills and be able to work with others whilst directing them to ensure a smooth operation is maintained.

The Position also requires the person to have a good knowledge of fish species or be willing to undertake some study to ensure a high level is achieved. While you will not be expected to know all fish species however vital that species delivered to the Coop are known.

You will be to be flexible with working hours during busy periods. Four weeks annual leave will be part of the package, however holidays pre and post-Christmas will not be permitted (Dec/Jan).

The Co-operative is a multi-function business and requires all staff to operate as a team regardless of position and in which section they are working.

Efficiently allocate and support floor staff during quiet receival periods by directing them to retail or takeaway operations where appropriate.

Work closely with the Retail Manager to ensure retail & wholesale demand is consistently met.

Take initiative in training, mentoring, and supporting new floor staff.
n
Demonstrate flexibility in working days and hours to ensure effective coverage during high-volume periods.
n
Be fully aware of the Rules of the Coop. (These are rules voted in by the members.)

Be computer literate and be willing to learn unique software programs
