North East Steel is seeking a skilled and reliable Sheetmetal Worker to join our team. This role involves the fabrication and preparation of sheetmetal products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.

About the Role

n

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

n

Fabricating and assembling sheetmetal products

n

Cutting, folding, and shaping sheetmetal components

n

Reading and interpreting drawings and measurements

n

Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely

n

Moving and handling materials throughout the workshop

n

Ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard

n

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

n

Assisting with general workshop duties when required

n

Requirements

n

To be successful in this role, you will need:

n





Experience in Sheetmetal fabrication or a related trade (preferred)

n

Current forklift licence (essential)

n

Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements

n

Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

n

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

n

Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

n

A robust commitment to workplace safety and teamwork

n

Hours

n

Monday to Friday
n 7:00am – 4:30pm

n
