The Kakadu Program is based in Jabiruand is a residential, experiential learning program deliveredacross Kakadu,Katherineand Darwin. It provides youngpeople with structured educational, cultural, and personaldevelopment experiences, supported by teaching staff, coaches,outdoor education personnel, andtrainees.

Jabiru is a smalltownshiplocatedin the heartof Kakadu NationalPark , NorthernTerritory. Originallyestablishedin the early 1980s tosupport the Ranger Uranium Mine, Jabiru has evolved into the mainservice hub for the region.

TheRole

Caulfield GrammarSchoolemphasizesprovidingdiverse domestic andinternational experiences for secondary students,particularlythrough theYarraJunction and Kakadu Programs. TheKakaduProgram, developed withtheMirarrTraditional Ownersand Jabiru AreaSchool, offers a unique blend of Outdoor Education, culturalimmersion, and service learning in Kakadu National Park. Theprogram aims to broaden students' perspectives on land use,governance, and indigenous cultures.

Based in Jabiruand reporting tothe Deputy Head of Kakadu Program,theKakadu ProgramDelivery Coordinatortakes an essential role insupportingtheStudent ExperienceTeam by completingand coordinating key tasks in preparationand executionofprogram delivery.

This role acts as a key conduitofinformation across the team andperformskeytasksacross;Program Delivery & Communication,Information & Family Management, Services Procurement & FinanceManagement, Facilities & Equipment Management, Safety & WellbeingManagement.

Thisuniquerole isa12-monthfixed-term contractstarting1January 2027with opportunity beyondthis.Board and lodgingsas well as meals when programsareoperating,are provided during the period ofemployment.

KeyDuties

- Demonstrate School Values by wayof outstanding leadership in and out of work within the Kakaducommunity

- Providedetailedadministrative, customerserviceandcoordinationservicestosupportKakaduProgramdelivery

- Accuratelycontribute rolespecific program information ontothe common communicationplatformincluding rosters,schedules,facilities,incidentrecordsandstudentinformation
n
- Arrange purchase orders, manageinvoices for paymentand, compile and reconcilereceipts
n
- Liaisewith externalpartners,serviceprovidersandinternaldepartmentswithin theSchool toensure clearprogramcommunicationsandrecords
n
- Oversee the maintenance andsafety of school facilities, services, and equipment forefficient operation
n
- Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar School valuesandbehaviours.

- Demonstratedexperiencemanaging dailydetailedorganisationalplatforms andimportantfunctionsin a school or educationalsetting

- Ability to managefinancialandreconciliation processes for workdebit,creditcards,expense managementplatforms with experience managing the payment ofinvoices

- Demonstrated competence withOffice 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel,PowerPoint

- Current AnaphylaxisManagement,First AidCertificateandvalidDriversLicense
