Project Station is an established and growing Australian manufacturer specialising in premium retail environments, exhibitions, commercial fit-outs and custom joinery. We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our busy manufacturing operation and drive performance across our Joinery, CNC, Spray Booth, Metal Fabrication, Acrylic Fabrication, Assembly and Dispatch teams.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality projects safely, efficiently and on time.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll oversee all day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and productivity.

n

- Leading and motivating multiple production teams
n
- Coordinating workflow, scheduling and factory capacity
n
- Planning labour and allocating resources across projects
n
- Working closely with Project Managers, Design and Procurement teams
n
- Driving continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiencies
n
- Maintaining quality standards and reducing rework
n
- Championing workplace health and safety
n
- Supporting and developing Leading Hands,



Tradespeople and Apprentices
n
- Monitoring production performance and meeting delivery deadlines
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is an experienced leader, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys improving systems and developing people.

n

n
- 5+ years' experience as a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager
n
- A strong background in custom joinery, shopfitting or manufacturing
n
- Proven experience leading production teams
n
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills
n
- The ability to read technical drawings
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style
n
- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
n
