We are a modern, well-established dental practice in Geelong specialising in dental implants, full-arch rehabilitation, oral surgery, and complex dental procedures.

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Anaesthetist to partner with us in establishing an in‐house Mobile Anaesthesia Service (MAS) for patients requiring IV sedation and general anaesthesia.

n

This is a unique opportunity to help build a service from the ground up while enjoying guaranteed clinical sessions and long‐term growth.

About the Role

n

This is a permanent part‐time opportunity.

n

We are committed to providing 6–8 clinical days per month, with guaranteed session payments irrespective of patient bookings.

n

You will work alongside experienced dental surgeons providing anaesthetic services for:

n

n
- Full‐arch rehabilitation (All‐on‐X)
n
- Complex restorative procedures
n
- Patients requiring IV sedation or general anaesthesia
n

n

As the service grows, there will be opportunities to increase sessional commitments.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide safe anaesthetic care for dental surgical procedures.
n
- Conduct pre‐operative assessments.
n
- Deliver IV sedation and general anaesthesia where appropriate.
n




- Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery.
n
- Work collaboratively with dentists, Registered Nurses and clinical staff.
n
- Assist in developing clinical protocols and governance for the MAS service.
n
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
n

About You

n

You are an experienced Specialist Anaesthetist who enjoys working in a cooperative environment and is interested in helping establish an innovative anaesthesia service within private dentistry.

n

Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).

n

Current AHPRA Specialist Registration.

n

Professional indemnity insurance.

n

Current ALS certification.

n

Experience providing anaesthesia in day surgery or procedural settings.

n

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

n

Experience with mobile anaesthesia services.

n

Interest in helping establish and grow a new clinical service.

n

Experience in private practice.

n
