Professionally lead and operationally manage the medical imaging service within the Gold Coast University Hospital as an Assistant Director (Medical Imaging Technology) at our Robina facility.

The Role

An prospect has become available for an Assistant Director (Medical Imaging Technology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-solid team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

n

n
- Contribute to the development of professional standards and clinical practices
n
- Provide managerial leadership in the development, implementation and improvement initiatives
n
- Apply expertise to assist in the resolution of complex clinical service or work-flow problems
n
- Utilise high level negotiation and conflict management skills to resolve issues and advocate
n

n

About you

n

To be successful in this position you will require:

n

n
- Tertiary degree in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
n
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

- Base salary ranging from $161,540 - $167,217 per annum

The Medical Imaging delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The service provides a one service/multi campus model with a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport (Gold Coast University Hospital), Level 4 service at Robina, services at The Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Tugun Satellite Hospital.
