We're looking for an experienced Warehouse & Transport Planner to become the operational link between our customers, warehouse operations and transport network.

n

This is a hands-on planning role where every decision you make impacts customer service, warehouse productivity and on-time freight departures.

n

This isn't a warehouse administration role.

We're looking for someone with genuine transport planning, fleet allocation or dispatch scheduling experience who understands how freight moves from warehouse to customer.

n

About the Role:

n

Reporting to the Warehouse Branch Manager, you'll coordinate the daily flow of customer orders from warehouse to transport, ensuring freight is planned, prioritised and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

n

This is an operational planning role where no two days are the same.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Planning daily warehouse workflow around transport departure times and customer delivery commitments.
n
- Coordinating freight bookings, carrier collections and transport dispatch schedules.
n
- Liaising with Transport Operations regarding fleet availability, freight movements and dispatch priorities.
n
- Prioritising customer orders to maximise warehouse productivity and transport efficiency.
n
- Monitoring freight movements and proactively resolving operational issues.
n
- Coordinating urgent customer requests while balancing operational priorities.
n




- Managing customer communication regarding dispatch, delivery and freight movements.
n
- Maintaining accurate information across Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS) and operational systems.
n
- Working collaboratively across warehouse, transport and customer service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
n

Working Hours:

n

Warehouse operations run between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

n

Rostered hours will fall within this window.

n

About You:

n

We're looking for someone who genuinely understands transport operations—not just warehouse administration.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in transport planning, fleet allocation or dispatch scheduling within a transport, freight or 3PL environment.
n
- A strong understanding of transport operations, freight scheduling, carrier bookings and delivery timeframes.
n
- Experience coordinating warehouse activities around transport schedules and dispatch cut-off times.
n
- The ability to confidently manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
n
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
n




- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
n
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
n
