HC / MC Truck Drivers Wanted - Interstate

Pilko's Transport, a growing family-owned business based in Hastings, Victoria, is seeking dedicated Heavy Combination (HC) and Multi-Combination (MC) truck drivers to join our expanding fleet.

n

We operate across the entire east coast of Australia, transporting general freight from our Hastings base. While previous interstate experience is preferred, it is not essential - we are happy to train the right candidates who have the right attitude and work ethic.

This is a full-time position, with ongoing employment available following a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operate HC/MC vehicles on interstate routes
n
- Transport general freight efficiently and safely along the east coast
n
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained in a protected and roadworthy condition
n
- Complete all required paperwork, documentation and delivery records
n
- Secure and handle freight safely and appropriately
n
- Comply with all road transport, fatigue management and company requirements
n
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and other road users
n




- Communicate effectively with our transport team regarding deliveries, delays and any issues that arise
n
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
n

About You

n

We are looking for drivers who are:

n

n
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
n
- Hold a current HC or MC licence
n
- Have a good driving history
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Physically capable of performing the requirements of the role
n
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers
n
- Willing to travel interstate and spend time away from home when required
n
- Experienced in interstate transport preferred, but not essential
n
