Prestige Health Care and Associates are seeking full-time, part-time and casual Disability Support Workers to join our team that is based in Melbourne VIC. You will be providing quality care and support to individuals with a range of disabilities, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met. What you'll be doing

- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and toileting
n
- Supporting clients to participate in social, recreational, and community activities
n
- Providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful activities
n
- Advocating for clients and ensuring their rights and needs are met
n
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
n
- Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and a commitment to empowering their independence
n
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability
n
- Previous experience working in the disability or aged care sector, preferably in a direct care role
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build trusting relationships
n
- A compassionate, patient, and versatile approach to your work
n
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
n
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
n
