About the role

n

As an HC (Heavy Combination) Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of refrigerated goods across regional NSW. Based at our Tamworth depot, this part-time role involves a set run 3 afternoons a week. This offers the chance for regular driving routes and a consistent work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operating refrigerated semi-trailers to transport goods across regional NSW
n
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
n
- Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
n
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and trip documentation
n




- Providing exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and in excellent condition
n
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required
n

To be successful in this role you'll have:

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving refrigerated semi-trailers or B-doubles
n
- Physical fitness for manual unloading
n
- Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner
n
- Knowledge of regional NSW road networks and transport regulations
n
- Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
n
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
n
- A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hours
n
