The Role

n

As the Financial Accountant, you will sit in the corporate head office and report to an energizing and talented Financial Controller who has a great track record of developing and mentoring her team.



You will be trained up to take on duties that will include (not limited to):

n

Working on the end-to-end accounting, tax and compliance requirements for a range of assets – offering engaging challenge and exposure

n

Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports

n

Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns

n

Assist in project budgeting and forecasting processes

n

Involvement in low-volume AP/AR tasks for your portfolio

n

As you continue to grow and become more confident, you will be given more responsibilities and learning opportunities.

Your Background

n

To be considered for this Financial Accountant opportunity, our client is looking for a talented individual with the following experience:

n

Circa 3-4+ years of experience in EITHER a commercial business as an Accountant or someone looking to make a move out of Audit, Tax or Business Services

n

Accounting Degree qualified with solid academic grades (credit average and above) coupled with CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or close to completion)

n

Ambition to learn, grow and work hard to build a future career in accounting

n

Hold permanent working rights (Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship)

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
