At Total Mobile Mechanical Services, you'll work across cars, 4WDs, trucks, commercial vehicles and fleet maintenance, with plenty of variety to keep every week interesting. We are looking for a qualified mechanic who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship and wants the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as our business continues to expand.

Whether you're a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, we'd love to hear from you. You do not need qualifications in both.

About the role

n

This is a hands-on position combining workshop productivity, diagnostics and leadership.

n

You'll be trusted to diagnose faults properly, complete repairs to a high standard, keep jobs moving efficiently and help maintain quality across the workshop.

n

Depending on your qualifications and experience, your work may include:

n

- Cars and 4WDs
n




- Trucks and commercial vehicles
n
- Petrol and diesel vehicles
n
- Routine servicing and logbook maintenance
n
- Mechanical repairs
n
- Diagnostics and fault finding
n
- Suspension, steering and brake repairs
n
- Cooling systems and driveline repairs
n
- Fleet maintenance
n
- Air conditioning and auto electrical support work where applicable
n

Work will always be allocated according to your qualifications, experience and strengths.

What we're looking for

n

n
- Trade qualification as either a Light Vehicle Mechanic or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
n
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
n
- Valuable communication and teamwork
n
- A practical, solutions-focused attitude
n
- Current driver's licence (manual preferred)
n

n

Additional experience in diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning, advanced diagnostics or other automotive specialties will be highly regarded.
