HealthX is recruiting Personal Care Assistants (PCA'S) for casual opportunities across community care services in the Toowoomba region, QLD.
n This role is ideal for nursing students who have completed at least one clinical placement, preferably in a hospital setting, and are seeking flexible work while gaining hands‐on health care experience.

About the Role

n

As an Personal Care Worker, you will support Registered and Enrolled Nurses in delivering high‐quality, patient‐centred care in the community.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
n
- Provide direct patient care under clinical supervision
n
- Support mobility, transfers, and basic clinical procedures
n
- Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
n
- Follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and documentation requirements
n




- be comfortable escalating concerns appropriately
n

n

About You - What We're Looking For

n

n
- Availability to work on a casual basis (minimum 3‐hour shifts)
n
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts
n
- Certificate III in Health and/or Aged Care, OR
n
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing or another relevant health degree
n
- Ability to work across multiple clinical disciplines
n
- Solid communication skills and a compassionate, team‐focused approach
n
