Job Description

The role:

n

Cater Care seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Permanent Part time Chef at one of our key aged care sites in Farrer , ACT.

n

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Preparing & presenting food for our residents
n
- Support bulk cooking operations
n
- Provide excellent customer service
n
- Maintaining a clean working environment
n
- Adherence to food & general safety practices
n




- Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
n

n

Roster:

n

Tuesday 6:00am to 14:30pm

n

Friday 9:00am to 17:30pm

n

Desired Skills and Experience

n

n
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
n
- A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
n
- Previous experience in a similar role
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
n
- Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
n
