Supporting operations across egg production, poultry, farming and transport, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive safety culture and ensuring health, safety and environmental systems are practical, effective and embedded across the business.

n

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on site, partnering with operational teams and making a genuine impact on workplace safety.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (or nominated manager), you'll support the delivery and continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environment program across multiple sites.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Conduct workplace inspections and identify, investigate and close out hazards and incidents.
n
- Manage incident, hazard and injury reporting through the Onside safety management system.
n
- Support injury management and return-to-work programs.
n
- Maintain risk registers, complete risk assessments and develop Safe Work Procedures.
n
- Assist with driver fatigue management, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) compliance and Electronic Work Diaries (EWD).
n
- Coordinate competency verification for high-risk plant operators.
n
- Deliver toolbox talks and support consultation with Health and Safety Representatives.
n
- Assist with emergency planning, contractor management, biosecurity controls and site access processes.
n




- Partner with site managers to implement corrective actions and drive continuous safety improvement.
n
- Prepare HSE reports and contribute to business-wide safety initiatives.
n

About You

n

We're looking for a proactive safety professional who enjoys working alongside operational teams and influencing positive safety outcomes through practical support and strong relationships.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
n
- Minimum three years' experience in an HSE role.
n
- Experience within manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, transport or another operational environment.
n
- Sound knowledge of Victorian (or Tasmanian) Work Health and Safety legislation.
n
- Experience managing incidents, hazards, contractor safety and high-risk plant activities.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work across both farm and industrial environments.
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
n
