The Chance

This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Manager or Manager who is looking for a fresh setting and a clearly defined career pathway. This is a key appointment within the firm - your expertise and leadership will directly contribute to their continued success and expansion.

You'll take on an existing client base and leverage your strong background in Business Services and Advisory to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

n

Prepare and review complex tax returns and financial statements for high-value client groups

n

Advise on a range of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, PSI and Div 7A

n

Deliver strategic tax planning and business advisory services

n

Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients while fostering strong relationships

n

Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks appropriately

n

Serve as the main point of contact for your clients

n

Oversee team workflows and review deliverables for quality and accuracy

n

Requirements

n

CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)

n

At least 6 years' experience in public practice

n

Previous experience training or supervising junior accountants

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

n

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
