Are you a Remedial Massage Therapist who wants your treatments to make a meaningful difference?

A.I.M Muscles and Joints is looking for a motivated and caring Remedial Massage Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary clinic.

n

This position will commence on a casual basis, providing flexibility while the successful practitioner establishes themselves within the clinic and grows their caseload.

n

As regular hours and the caseload become established, there will be potential for the right practitioner to transition into a permanent part-time position.

n

You'll be supported by our existing patient community, internal referrals, reception and administration, ongoing marketing and a collaborative allied health team.

n

You won't be expected to build your caseload alone.

n

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

This is a flexible casual position with hours and days discussed with the successful applicant.

n

You'll provide high-quality remedial massage services to a diverse range of patients while working collaboratively with other practitioners within the clinic.

n

Your role will include:

n

- Providing personalised remedial massage treatments
n
- Completing appropriate assessments within your scope of practice
n
- Developing treatment approaches based on each patient's individual needs and goals
n
- Supporting patients with pain management, movement and recovery
n
- Maintaining clear, accurate and timely clinical notes
n
- Building strong and qualified patient relationships
n
- Communicating and collaborating with other practitioners when appropriate
n
- Contributing to a positive and coordinated patient experience
n
- Helping grow awareness of remedial massage within the clinic and local community
n

PATHWAY TO PERMANENT PART-TIME

n

We're looking for someone who wants to become a valued, long-term member of our clinic.

n





The role will begin as casual employment, allowing the practitioner's hours and caseload to develop gradually.

n

As the caseload becomes consistent and regular weekly hours are established, there may be an opportunity to transition into permanent part time employment by mutual agreement.

n

A transition to permanent part-time employment would provide greater consistency, an agreed regular work pattern and applicable paid leave entitlements.

n

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- Diploma of Remedial Massage
n
- Current membership, or eligibility for membership, with a recognised professional association
n
- Current health fund provider numbers or eligibility to obtain them
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certificationAppropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to maintain accurate and professional clinical records
n
- Current Australian working rights
n

n

DESIRABLE, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

n

n
- Previous experience within an allied health or multidisciplinary clinic
n
- Additional qualifications in sports massage, pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage, dry needling or other relevant treatment techniques
n
- Experience working with musculoskeletal presentations and rehabilitation patients
n
- An interest in ongoing professional developmentAn established local skilled network or patient following

PAY RATE

$45–$65 per hour plus superannuation.

n

The advertised rate includes casual loading and will depend on the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and applicable award classification.

n

Weekend, public holiday and other penalty rates will be paid where required.

n

If the position transitions to permanent part-time employment, the pay rate and conditions will be reviewed and confirmed as part of the new employment arrangement.
