Zed Technologies is transforming healthcare delivery. Our secure last-mile software platform connects radiology groups, referring physicians and patients, delivering over 15 million diagnostic imaging studies a year across Australia and internationally.

As we continue to grow we're looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to take hands‐on ownership of our security posture, including hardening infrastructure, closing vulnerabilities and embedding security by design into our software products.

What you'll do

n

Maintain and improve our ISMS in line with ISO 27001, keeping it audit-ready year-round

n

Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, endpoint protection, and network controls

n

Run vulnerability scans and drive remediation through to closure

n

Partner with developers to embed security and threat modelling into the SDLC

n





Be the go‐to security contact for customers, vendor assessments and audits

n

Lead incident triage and response, from detection through to lessons learned

n

Deliver security awareness training and build a solid security culture org-wide

n

What you'll bring

n

3+ years in information security or a related technical role

n

Practical experience with firewalls, endpoint protection, patching and encryption

n

Hands‐on vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking

n

Solid grasp of IAM principles (least privilege, MFA, access reviews)

n

Confident, clear communicator - equally comfortable in a ticket, a report, or a client call
