Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Robot Welder Operator to set up, maintain and operate a Panasonic robot welding system. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team. The ideal candidate for this role has 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.

The position of Robot Welder Operator is responsible for the operation of a robotic welder, overhead gantry crane and where needed hand welding and finishing tasks like grinding etc.

The successful applicant will need experience in a similar role working with steel and fabrication materials. We are happy to train someone with welding experience how to drive the robot.

WORKING HOURS AND PAY

n

Afternoon Shift from 2:00pm - 10:30pm (paid a 15% loading) and the opportunity for overtime.

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- 2 years experience in a production, fabrication or similar industrial environment.
n
- Previous experience in operating industrial machinery and overhead gantry crane is desirable, but not essential
n
- Experience in manual handling
n
- Highly skilled autonomous operator
n
- Ability to measure using various types of measuring equipment (Vernier,



calliper's and micrometres)
n
- Have a robust work ethic
n
- Plan workload to achieve daily targets
n
- Give significant attention to detail
n
- Maintain the highest safety standards
n
- High level organisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
n
- Clear problem solver, proven ability to understand and deal with difficult questions or situations.
n
- Mechanical aptitude
n
- Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)
n
- Currently have the right to work in Australia
n
- Pass a Police Check
