Key Responsibilities: Prepper - Full Time.
n
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
n
Cut, shape, and prepare materials for welding.
n
Grind, sand and Bog using power tools to prepare products for paint after welders have finished
n
Optimal but not necessary: Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxy) to fabricate and repair metal products.
n
Quality Control
n
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and visual quality.
n
Use measuring tools to pass QA checks on the products
n
Ensure all work meets company and customer specifications.
n
Safety & Maintenance
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
n
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workspace in secure working condition.
n
Identify and report hazards or defects immediately.
n
General Workshop Duties
n
Assist with assembly, fitting, and other metal fabrication tasks as required.
n
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
n
Keep accurate job records and complete documentation where required.
n
