Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter/Machinist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out fitting, machining, maintenance and repair work
- Machine and manufacture components to required specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, measurements and specifications
- Set up and operate workshop machinery and equipment
- Fit, assemble and modify components and machinery
- Diagnose faults and assist with repairs and maintenance
- Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop

About You

We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes genuine pride in producing quality work.

You will ideally have:

- Trade qualification in Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade / Fitting and Machining
- Proven experience in fitting and machining
- Robust mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience using workshop machinery and equipment
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Driver’s Licence
