Our Position

Rockcote is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable casual Warehouse / Sales Assistant to join our Niddrie Trade Hub. Our Trade Hub is a direct point of contact for trade professionals and customers to collect orders and gain expert advice on our range of paints, renders, coatings, and application tools.

The store operates between 6:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with staff rostered to provide adequate coverage. The casual shifts may range from 4hrs to 6hrs daily.

You will be provided with training which will ensure you have the knowledge required to assist our customers over the phone and in person on our specialised product and system information.

About You





This versatile position requires a customer service superstar with capabilities in warehousing.

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

- Experience working in a warehouse environment, including picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
- Personable and able to provide excellent customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
- Forklift licence and experience operating a forklift, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale system would be an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting bags and buckets up to 25kgs.
- Knowledge of render, texture, paint products and colour matching/tinting will be well regarded, though training will be provided.
- Willing to assist with in-store displays, store presentation and general housekeeping.
- Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced and hands on.
- Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs – Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Drivers licence required to assist with local deliveries, as required.
