The Team & Role

Join Bayside Health Peninsula's Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in a front-facing reception role where you will be the first point of contact for consumers, carers, visitors, and staff. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will provide exceptional customer service while coordinating appointments, managing enquiries, supporting clinicians and managers with administrative tasks, maintaining accurate patient records, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, professional, and committed to delivering a welcoming and confidential experience for all.

- Permanent Part Time, 32 hours per fortnight
- Located at Tarnbuk Centre, Frankston
- Classification: Grade 2 Year 1 (YC89)* plus super

Skills & Experience Required

- Certificate III in business administration or working towards same
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Previous experience in a mental health setting
- Intermediate to advanced ability to use MS Office suite of programs
- Ability to prepare letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
- Extensive administration experience and switchboard functions
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver on competing work demands
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team workplace as well
Independently
- Demonstrated Initiative, self-direction, Innovation and ability to contribute to the development of new
services
- Well-developed Interpersonal skills
- Current Victorian Driver's licence
- Familiarity with the provisions of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2014, including the mental
health principles
