Casual Wagga Leisure Hospitality Assistant

As a Wagga Leisure Hospitality Assistant, you will providequality hospitality service across all Council operated food and beveragevenues (the Oasis Café, JimElphick Tennis Centre, Wagga Airport and the Livestock Marketing Centre) and assist the catering team with all internal Councilevents.

Positions are casual andon an as needs basis, with shifts both during the week and on weekends inaccordance with rostering arrangements. Applications will be retained on file to fill vacancies within ourcasual pool as they arise.

- Remuneration of $38.07 gross per hour + superannuation (12%).

We are looking for individuals withthe following:

- Exceptional Customer Service – you go above and beyond to make everyguest feel welcome and you are able to stay calm, focused and efficientduring busy periods.
- Hospitality Experience – you understand café operations, foodhandling and presentation and are experienced in preparing food, coffeeand beverages.
- Qualifications – you holdthe following prior to commencement: ResponsibleService of Alcohol Certificate, NSW Food Handler Basics Certificate,



CurrentFirst Aid Certificate and Class C Driver’s Licence.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Assisting with basic food andbeverage preparation, presentation and delivery.
- Providing friendly and efficientcustomer service.
- Handling cash and EFTPOStransactions and exercising control of point-of-sale system.
- Responsible service of alcohol.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygienestandards.
- Assist hospitality services team toprepare for internal and external functions and events.
- Supporting the team with all otherdaily hospitality operations.
