We are seeking a dedicated Houseperson/Housekeeping Attendant to join our hospitality team in Newcastle West, NSW. This part‐time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a Houseman, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and functions as required.

- Restock supplies and ensure that all areas are well‐maintained and presentable.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
n
- Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

n
- No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning procedures is preferred.
n
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
n
- Solid attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
