About the Role

n

As our Centre Chef, you'll create fresh,



nutritious meals and snacks for children throughout the day while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene practices.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals
n
- Creating menus that are nutritious, appealing and child-friendly
n
- Accommodating allergy, dietary and cultural requirements
n
- Managing food ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
n
- Maintaining food safety and compliance standards
n
- Building positive relationships with children, families and educators
n
- Encouraging a positive and healthy relationship with food
n

n

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have

n

n
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen, childcare setting, school, aged care environment or similar
n
- Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices
n
- A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
- A current Blue Card or ability to obtain one
n
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to work independently
n
- A warm, positive and caring nature
n
- A genuine passion for children's health and wellbeing
n
