Who are we looking for?

n

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplinedAircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics)to join our team inSydney, NSW. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

n

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
n
- Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
n




- Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
n
- Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
n
- Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
n

The essential requirements

n

n
- 2+ years experience on A220, Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
n
- Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics);
n
- Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
n
- Strong team player;
n
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
n
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
n
- Passion for safe work practices;
n
- Valid work visa;
n
- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
n
- Current Australian Driver's licence.
n

Shifts will be primarily a rotating shift roster that includes both day and night shift.

n
