Electricians | Goonyella Mine Shutdown | 8:6 Roster

CE Group is seeking experienced Electricians for upcoming Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works at Goonyella Mine.

n

This short-term chance includes approximately one week of pre-work plus a four-week shutdown. The two supervisors will work back-to-back on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, supervising crews of approximately eight electrical personnel.

About the role

n

Working within a crew of approximately 8 electrical personnel, you will assist with Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works.

n

Pre-work will include off-site training, SOPs, medicals,



online training, confined-space training and site authorisation activities.

n

About you

n

n
- Current unrestricted electrical license
n
- Standard 11 – Highly advantageous
n
- Current Coal Board Medical is highly advantageous
n
- Previous experience in a similar role
n
- Experience with MCC or HV switchboard replacement works
n
- Previous BMA or Goonyella Mine experience is highly advantageous
n
- Current Goonyella Mine authorisations will be highly regarded
n

Successful applicants will be required to satisfy site access requirements, including medical, training and authorisation requirements where applicable.

n

Off-site training is expected to commence from approximately 14 September, with site authorisation activities scheduled for late September and early October.
