Job Description

As we continue to grow, we're expanding our consulting team with senior data specialists who can help clients create clear, scalable data structures that support trusted reporting, analytics and decision-making.
n
We're looking for a Senior Data Modeller who can step in quickly, bring structure to complex information and develop models that work in practice.
n
You'll work across conceptual, logical and physical modelling, using strong SQL and Databricks experience to support integration, transformation and performance. You'll also act as a bridge between business needs, source systems and the target data architecture.
n
This is a senior role for someone who combines strong technical judgement with the confidence to work through ambiguity and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models across enterprise workstreams
n
- Apply Data Vault and Kimball approaches where appropriate, with consistent modelling standards and documentation
n
- Ensure models are scalable, reusable and aligned with enterprise data architecture
n
n
SQL, Databricks & Integration
n
n
- Write and optimise complex SQL for extraction, transformation, validation and performance tuning
n
- Use Databricks to support data preparation, modelling and delivery
n
- Support data integration, troubleshoot data issues and validate business rules
n
n
Stakeholder Leadership & Delivery
n
n
- Facilitate modelling workshops with business and technical stakeholders
n
- Translate complex requirements and constraints into clear recommendations
n
- Manage changing priorities and difficult conversations while maintaining delivery momentum
n
- Work independently from day one while collaborating closely with client and Intelligen teams
n
n
Requirements
n
n
- 4-5 years enterprise data modelling experience across conceptual, logical and physical models
n
- Practical experience applying Data Vault and/or Kimball approaches
n
- Strong stakeholder management, resilience and adaptability in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
n
- Advanced SQL, including data manipulation, validation and performance tuning
n
- Strong understanding of data integration, data warehousing and architecture
n
- Utilities or energy experience is highly desirable
n
- SAP knowledge is highly desirable
n
