About The Opportunity
n
This Darwin‐based role will provide financial leadership across the DCOH Group, overseeing financial reporting, governance, financial operations, compliance, and risk management. Reporting directly to the CFO and leading a finance team, you will support the CFO and business leaders to drive financial performance, strengthen controls, and support informed strategic decision‐making.

Who You Are
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent postgraduate qualification) with a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
n
- Minimum 10 years' experience across accounting and finance functions, including senior leadership responsibilities
n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including AASB, IFRS, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements
n
- Proven experience managing audits,
governance frameworks, and financial control environments
n
- Demonstrated experience overseeing banking, cashflow management, and financial risk activities
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
n
- Experience leading and developing high‐performing finance teams
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business
n
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and process improvement capabilities
n
- Experience within construction, property development, hospitality, or project‐based environments highly regarded
n

What You'll Do
n
n
- Managing the group month‐end and year‐end close processes, delivering timely consolidated reporting packs, and statutory financial statements
n
- Oversee statutory compliance, taxation obligations, audit processes, and regulatory reporting requirements
n
- Manage accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, revenue recognition, and cost accounting functions
n
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, accounting policies, and procedures across the Group
n
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records and reporting
n
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision‐making and business performance
n
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the central finance team, building a high‐performance culture focused on execution and accountability
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting processes, controls, and operational efficiencies
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the Group
n
- Work closely with business unit finance leads to ensure consistency in financial practices, reporting standards, and governance
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banking institutions, advisers, and internal stakeholders
n
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and high performance while representing DCOH in accordance with the Code of Conduct
