888 Traffic - Casual Traffic Controllers

We are currently seeking casual Traffic Controllers to join our growing workforce, with immediate starts available .

Please note: This position is not suitable for applicants looking for weekend-only work, night shifts only, or those with limited availability.

We are a domestic traffic management company , so please do not apply if you are specifically seeking rail or commercial traffic management work.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- A WorkSafe-issued Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Valid Traffic Control qualifications as below:

Qualifications issued before 1 March 2024

The following qualifications are accepted, provided they are within 3 years of the issue date :

- RIIWHS205E
- RIIWHS302E

Qualifications issued after 1 March 2024

Applicants must hold the relevant Category 1 or Category 2 skill sets:

Category 1

- Traffic Controller (TC1) – RIISS00058




- Traffic Management Implementer (TMI1) – RIISS00060

Category 2

- Traffic Controller (TC2) – RIISS00059
- Traffic Management Implementer (TMI2) – RIISS00061

Skills & Expectations

The successful applicants will have:

- A current Victorian driver's licence
- Their own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel to job sites across Melbourne
- Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- A strong work ethic and excellent time-management skills
- Flexibility to accept work at short notice and adapt to changing requirements
- A qualified presentation and attitude on site
- The ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
