Young Change Agents is a social enterprise that helps youth see problems as opportunities through the lens of social enterprise. We use design thinking and lean start-up methodologies to build the mindset, skillset and toolset of youth.
Young Change Agents has the prospect to deliver a series of 1-day design thinking workshops in the Cairns area and is looking for casual facilitators to both lead and support in the delivery of these programs.
THE KEY THINGS WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A CASUAL FACILITATOR ROLE:
- Excited to support the facilitation of school programs
- Confident communication skills and ability to work across large-scale events
- Flexibility, resilience and enthusiasm in spades
- Able to travel within the Greater Cairns Area (own vehicle required, travel costs covered)
- Happy to work flexible hours
- Experienced in working with young people
- As we are working in schools and with young people, you will possess (or be willing to obtain) a successful Police Check and Working With Children Check for Queensland
Key Details:
Facilitation Availability: 5 days of workshop delivery in schools during Term 3 and Term 4 (September - November)
Location: Townsville
Hourly Rate: $35-40/hour (dependent on experience)
Please note: This is a contract role and hours are not guaranteed. We will contact facilitators when programs are scheduled in their region to check availability. Program training is provided.
Applicants must be based in Townsville.
