Your new role

As part of a diverse maintenance workforce, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of teams including road construction and maintenance, marine and coastal asset maintenance, parks and gardens, sports fields, and general civil infrastructure. These hands‑on roles involve maintaining community spaces and assets, operating plant and equipment, undertaking labouring duties, and helping to ensure public facilities remain safe, functional, and well‑presented for the community.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll bring previous experience in labouring, construction, civil works,



and/or parks and gardens maintenance. A strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and ability to work outdoors in a team setting are essential. Relevant civil industry tickets and licences, including an MR or HR licence, will be highly regarded and may provide opportunities to work across a variety of maintenance teams.
