Logistics Officer – Warehouse

Mount Barker | 6-Month Contract | Full-Time | $44.29 per hour + Super

We are looking for a hands‑on Logistics Officer to join a busy Supply Chain team in Mount Barker on an initial 6‑month contract, commencing as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory experience who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and working as part of a team.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of warehouse and stores activities, including:

- Picking, packing and dispatching materials and equipment
- Receiving, storing and handling stock safely
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
- Conducting stocktakes and stock adjustments
- Processing orders, requisitions and inventory transactions
- Assisting internal teams and suppliers with logistics and procurement requirements
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe




- Ensuring correct materials handling and storage procedures are followed

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a warehouse/stores environment.

You will need:

- Previous experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory operations
- Current Driver’s Licence (Class C)
- Current forklift/high-risk licence
- Valuable communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work safely, follow procedures and work independently

Forklift experience is highly desirable.
