About The Prospect

At Karinya Place, you’ll enjoy a peaceful Laidley location surrounded by open country views, a warm and calming setting that nurtures comfort, connection, and care. In this position you will be assisting in the provision of high-quality fresh meals to the residents of the facility, in support of maintaining their quality of life.

This role requires availability Monday to Sunday between 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM for 8 shifts and 9:30 AM to 5:36 PM for 2 shifts each fortnight.

Your Day-to-day Will Involve

- Assist the Chef and other staff in the preparation of high-quality, fresh meals that meet residents’ dietary requirements and personal preferences




- Provide assistance to Support Services staff in meal service to residents
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and always adhere to food safety and hygiene standards

About You

- Experience in commercial food preparation
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety standards relevant to Aged Care
- A compassionate, resident-focused approach
- Previous experience in Aged Care industry is desirable
