About KOTRA SYDNEY

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is a South Korean Government body under the ministry of Industry, trade and resource committed to promoting international trade and investment. KOTRA has played a significant role in supporting Korean SMEs expanding overseas and KOTRA Sydney, as part of KOTRA’s worldwide network of over 128 offices in 83 countries, offers a wide variety of initiatives to support Korean SMEs to go to the Australian market.

Main responsibilities

Provide trade consulting services for Korean SMEs and manage several accounts simultaneously

Conduct general marketing and investment promotional activities to support Korean companies across all industries





Support Korean and Korean companies to enter into Australian market through tasks such as research/analysis, investment attraction, recruitment, FTA consulting, etc.

Build and liaison business relationships between Australian and Korean companies

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications; commerce, marketing or related majors preferred but not essential

International business or trade-related experience preferred but not essential

Robust written and verbal Korean communication skills preferred

Full working rights in Australia for 37.5 working hours a week

The contract term is one year from the commencement date of employment.
