Job Description
n
We are seeking a highly organised and people-focused Injury Management & Return to Work Coordinator to join our Health, Safety & Wellbeing team.
n
Reporting to the Wellbeing & Return to Work Partner,
this role will support the delivery of effective injury management and workers compensation processes across the business. You will coordinate return-to-work activities, manage claims administration, support compliance obligations and help drive positive recovery and wellbeing outcomes for team members. This role provides exposure to all Australian Workers Compensation schemes across a diverse range of businesses in retail, trade, service and supply chain operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in injury management, workers compensation administration or return-to-work coordination, or for someone looking to take the next step and build a career in injury management and workplace wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Coordinate and support return-to-work cases, ensuring activities are completed in line with legislative and company requirements
n
- Prepare and manage workers compensation claim documentation, including medical certificates, wage information and supporting records
n
- Monitor claim progress, maintain case records and raise risks or concerns where required
n
- Support the development and implementation of Return-to-Work plans and early intervention initiatives
n
- Act as a key liaison between employees, leaders, People & Culture, Payroll, insurers and rehabilitation providers
n
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within injury management systems, ensuring compliance and data integrity
n
- Support wellbeing initiatives and assist with the delivery of employee wellbeing programs across the business
n
- Assist with reporting,
compliance monitoring and continuous improvement activities within the RTW function
n
n
Qualifications
n
You are an empathetic and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about supporting employees through the return-to-work process.
n
You will bring:
n
n
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in injury management, return to work, claims management, allied health or a related field.
n
- Experience in return-to-work coordination, injury management, workers compensation administration or a related field
n
- Knowledge of workers compensation legislation and injury management principles
n
- Strong administrative and case management skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
n
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
n
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
n
- A team-oriented and customer-focused approach
n
