About the Role

n

As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing a range of electronic products.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Understand main board (PCB) functions, including power management and communication modules
n
- Work with Li-ion battery systems, charging circuits, and apply safe handling practices
n
- Diagnose and repair components such as drive motors, brush motors, and suction fans
n
- Interpret and troubleshoot sensor systems (LDS/LiDAR, infrared, cliff and bump sensors)
n




- Identify and resolve common faults and recurring issues
n
- Use multimeters and basic diagnostic tools effectively
n
- Perform firmware updates and reflashing
n
- Conduct functional testing post-repair to ensure quality outcomes
n
- Maintain accurate repair logs and update service systems
n
- Communicate technical findings clearly to supervisors and support teams
n
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols and workplace safety standards
n

About You

n

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

n

- Certificate or Diploma in:n n
- Electronics
n
- Mechatronics
n
- Electrical Engineering
n

n

n

Experience

n

n
- Experience repairing:n n
- Robotic vacuum cleaners (highly regarded)
n
- Home appliances or consumer electronics
n

n

n
