This is an opportunity to own the finance function of a growing marketing business, on your terms: three days a week, with the autonomy of running the numbers end to end.

Our client is a St Kilda-based marketing business looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take full, standalone ownership of their day-to-day finance and accounting function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be the sole point of contact for all things finance, from transactional processing through to management reporting.

The Role

- Report directly to the Managing Director as the standalone finance function for the business
n
- Manage the full end-to-end accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
n
- Process a small payroll run and manage related compliance
n
- Prepare monthly management reports and support the Managing Director with financial insights
n
- Handle general finance administration and ad hoc support for the leadership team
n

About You

n

n
- Qualified or near-qualified accountant with solid experience in a standalone or senior finance role
n
- Comfortable managing the full accounting cycle unsupervised, from data entry through to reporting
n
- Experience with small payroll processing
n
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously and without a finance team around you
n
- Prior experience in a small-to-medium business or agency workplace is highly regarded
n
