Our client is a family-owned Australian food manufacturing business based in Orange, NSW. The company produces high-quality chilled food products and has built a strong reputation for flavour, quality and consistency.
As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Process Worker to join their production team.
Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Monday to Friday)
As a Process Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Measuring and dispensing dry and liquid ingredients according to production specifications
- Following recipes and production instructions accurately
- Completing batch documentation, paperwork and production records
- Packing and palletising finished products
- Working within a temperature-controlled production environment
- Cleaning and sanitising machinery and production areas
- Performing basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance
- Identifying and reporting production issues to production leaders
- Supporting production, quality and safety requirements
- Regularly standing, walking, bending and lifting materials weighing 10–15 kg
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous process worker or machine operating experience, essential
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands‑on approach
- Good computer skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and workplace safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow recipes and procedures
- A proactive and reliable attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The physical capacity to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
