Cater Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic, hard working Catering Assistant / Kitchen Hand that prides themselves on working well in a team workplace at our Aged Care site in Manly, NSW.

Job Description

Roster:

Thursday and Friday Up to 20 hours per week

What this role involves:

- Assisting with food preparation
- Assist Chefs with packing away deliveries,empty bin rubbish removal during shift
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene




- Previous experience in medical / hospital sector would be well regarded
