As our new Sales Assistant based at the Taubmans Trade Centre in Maroochydore , you'll be the friendly face customers see when they walk through the door. Helping tradies, painters, and DIY customers get what they need and leave with confidence that they have the right products.

No paint experience? No problem!

If you've worked in retail, hospitality, customer service or another hands‑on environment and genuinely enjoy helping people, we'll teach you everything else.

The setup

Based at our Maroochydore Trade Centre

Monday to Friday roster between 6:30am and 4:30pm

Occasional Saturday shifts (7:00am to 11:30am)

Full product and systems training provided

This is a busy commercial store that works closely with local trade customers, helping keep projects moving through product advice, order fulfilment and deliveries. You'll join a small, close‑knit team led by experienced managers who know the industry, back their people and create a relaxed, down‑to‑earth setting where everyone pitches in.

How you'll make an impact

Every day looks a little different, but you'll be focused on creating a great experience for every customer who walks through the door.

You'll:

- Welcome and assist customers with friendly, knowledgeable service
- Build relationships with local trade and retail customers
- Tint and mix paint products to customer requirements
- Support colour matching and product recommendations
- Prepare and organise customer orders for collection and delivery
- Help keep shelves stocked, displays looking great and the store running smoothly
- Work closely with the Store Manager and team to support sales growth
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace
- Make local deliveries when required using the company vehicle

How you'll thrive

We're open to people from a range of backgrounds, including retail, trade supply, hardware, hospitality, customer service, warehousing and other customer‑facing environments. Paint experience isn't essential. We'll teach you everything you need to know about our products and systems.

To thrive in this role, you'll:





- Enjoy building relationships with customers and delivering great service
- Be eager to learn recent skills and develop product knowledge
- Work well as part of a close‑kit rhyme.
- Be happy to get hands‑on, including lifting paint tins, loading deliveries, using pallet jacks and moving stock around the store
- Be comfortable being on your feet throughout the day in a busy retail environment
- Hold a valid driver's licence – and a forklift licence is a bonus!
