About the Job
Mala University is looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand / Food Prep to join our team.
Main Duties
- Wash and cut vegetables
- Prepare meat and other ingredients
- Portion and organise ingredients for chefs
- Refill ingredients during service
- Keep the kitchen and food preparation area clean
- Wash kitchen tools and containers when needed
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules
- Help chefs with other kitchen duties
About You
- Reliable and on time
- Hardworking and willing to learn
- Able to work in a busy kitchen
- Able to follow instructions
- Valuable teamwork
- Basic knife skills are preferred
- Kitchen experience is preferred, but training can be provided
- Available to work evenings and weekends
