Account Manager / Business Development Manager - Healthcare Staffing

Alliance Nursing is seeking a Healthcare Account Manager to manage and grow an established portfolio of healthcare clients across Queensland and Rural & Remote Potfolio. This is a relationship-focused role where you'll strengthen existing partnerships, identify growth opportunities and help expand Alliance's presence across the region.

Ideal for someone from a nursing agency, healthcare recruitment, workforce solutions or labour hire background who understands how healthcare staffing works and enjoys working directly with clients.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Head of Client Growth & Strategic Accounts, you'll partner with healthcare clients to increase activity, improve engagement and uncover opportunities for growth.

n

This isn't a high-volume cold-calling role. You'll focus on account management, client retention, relationship building and account expansion, supported by experienced operations and workforce teams.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of healthcare clients
n
- Conduct client visits, reviews and relationship-building activities
n
- Identify opportunities to increase client activity and service utilisation
n
- Re-engage inactive or underutilised accounts
n
- Build relationships with workforce managers, procurement and operational leaders
n




- Support new client onboarding and growth opportunities
n
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity
n
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
n
- Collaborate with Recruitment, Allocations, Operations and Compliance teams
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in account management, client relationship management, customer success, business development or healthcare recruitment
n
- Understanding of healthcare staffing, nursing agencies, labour hire or workforce solutions
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
n
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
n
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities
n
- CRM experience and solid administration skills
n
- Current Driver Licence and willingness to travel locally
n

- Allocations, workforce planning or recruitment background

- Existing healthcare industry networks within Queensland
